PADI Open Water Course
During the course, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including how to use scuba gear, safety procedures, and diving techniques. You'll also complete a series of knowledge development sessions, both in the classroom and through self-study materials, to learn the theory behind scuba diving.
After completing the classroom sessions, you'll start your underwater training in a shallow pool and relaxing pool. Here, you'll practice the skills you learned in the elearning with the guidance of a professional PADI instructor. You'll learn how to control your buoyancy, clear your mask, and communicate underwater, among other important skills.
Once you've mastered the basics in the pool, you'll get lunch and descriptions about the dives you will make with your instructor in open water dives in Playa del Carmen's beautiful coral reefs. You'll complete 2 dives per day, each one allowing you to explore more of the fascinating underwater world. You'll see colorful coral formations, schools of tropical fish, and maybe even spot larger creatures like sea turtles.
Completing your PADI Open Water Course in Playa del Carmen is an incredible way to start your scuba diving journey. You'll gain confidence and skills while exploring one of the world's most beautiful underwater environments. It's an adventure you'll never forget and will open up a whole new world of adventure and exploration for you.
The course is over 2 days. Before starting the course, the student must complete ; the introduction and chapters 1-2-3 in the elearning or book.
It will give you access to dive anywhere in the world to 18 meters.

PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
